The Gifts-In Kind program strives to provide the East Texas Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America with a wide range of items needed for the continued operations of programs and services. This program encourages contributors to look within their organizations for items that would be of value to the Boy Scouts. The local council can use not only donated goods and services, but also items provided at a discount, donated new or used surplus materials, and monetary contributions that would offer the donor a named opportunity.

Various business services and supplies are necessary for the administrative support of all our Scouting activities. The types of services and general supplies requested are:

The use of the electronic media is an integral part of presentations made throughout the council to train the many volunteers and professionals. Items typically required to create and/or enhance these presentations are:

The cost of operating a year-round camping facility can be very expensive. Donated equipment and supplies help us to keep our camp attractive and usable. The special needs are:

Various communication needs throughout the Boy Scouts' organization require a broad range of printing. This includes simple duplication, the design and printing of colored brochures, and the monthly publishing of the "Scouters News" newspaper. Special needs are:
