Internet Advancement for
Packs, Troops, Teams, Crews, and Ships

It's Finally here!
Process ranks and awards for packs, troops, teams, crews, ships, and posts ONLINE!
Units can now submit advancement for unit youth members online.

Use Internet Advancement for the following:
Add ranks, merit badges, and awards
Update information on existing advancements (excepting the Eagle Scout rank).

The September 2007 roundtables will feature training on the Internet Advancement  process.

System Requirements for Internet Advancement

To use the Internet Advancement site you need:
Internet Explorer 5.5 or better with a minimum screen resolution of 800x600.
Also, JavaScript must be enabled for your browser.

To use Internet Advancement:

1. Select the unit advancement processor. This person must have Internet connectivity                                      and Microsoft Internet Explorer.
2. Obtain a unit ID code from the council, this will be mailed out in early July. The unit advancement processor attends
September Roundtable, for training on the use of Internet Advancement               procedures.
3. Gather information for advancement, including merit badge applications                                                        and advancement records with dates.
4. Click Internet Advancement on this page. Follow the instructions in Internet Advancement                      to process advancements and print an advancement report.
5. Have the appropriate people sign the printed unit advancement report and  submit it to the council. As well as any other paperwork related to awards. Save copies  for your files.
Units should submit monthly before the end of each month, or more often if needed.  In December, submit a report before the end of the month to update your unit and council statistics.

Training
At  each September Roundtable will be a training and orientation on Internet Advancement. Each unit must select an adult to be its unit advancement processor, and this adult should attend the training.               Additionally, anyone who wants to learn more about Internet Advancement                                                           can review the help information.
